iSportsmanGX: The Leader in Outdoor Management

PRESS RELEASE

For immediate release: April 6, 2023

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA—Conservation and software leader, ASciS—creator of the iSportsman solution—participated in the 88th Annual North American Wildlife and Natural Resources Conference (NAWNRC), which also played host to the National Military Fish and Wildlife Association (NMFWA) annual conference. This year, the joint conference was held in St. Louis, Missouri, at the end of March. In 2007, the original iSportsman system debuted on the joint conference stage. Now known as iSportsmanGX, iSportsman is a software as a service (SaaS) designed to help the Department of Defense (DoD) comply with the Sikes Act as mandated in their hunting and fishing programs, while also garnering valuable information for wildlife management.

Since 2007, ASciS has expanded the iSportsman suite of services to include the needs of commercial and private landowners with iSportsmanARX, individual outdoor recreationists’ needs via iSportsmanX, and overall outdoor safety and situational awareness needs with the HazRDS mobile tool. NAWNRC previously served as a meeting ground for existing iSportsmanGX clients to meet with the team of product specialists to receive refresher training or new feature briefing. This year, the iSportsman team saw a difference reflective of their 13 years of participation in the conference.

“The time spent catching up with familiar faces was matched by the time meeting new people.” Aneil Kumar, President of iSportsman and ASciS solutions reported, “More specifically, the new people we met already knew about our services.”

ASciS recently expanded their iSportsmanGX services and renewed existing contracts. Through multiple propositions that include enterprise agreements with both the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force, iSportsman is honored to serve over 55 bases nationwide. New to the iSportsman fold is Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington state and Laughlin Air Force Base in Texas.

“Recently, a client that was retiring told a colleague that deploying iSportsman was the thing that he was most proud of over his years of service in natural resources management. It was a game changer for a program that was historically dependent on other base services for success. With iSportsman, success was in our control.” Aneil says.
