Ft. Sill Launch of iSportsman On-Trend for Success
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. –Fort Sill in Oklahoma is known as a National Historic Landmark, a forefront of technological advances and a prominent example of living history. In addition, Ft. Sill is now using the iSportsman recreational management software-as-a-service (SaaS), which is expected to greatly improve the base’s outdoor recreational program operations.
iSportsman, an ASciS solution, is currently used by natural resource professionals on 26 U.S. Army installations nationwide, helping generate $1.2 million in revenue through permit sales alone. On Ft. Sill’s 93,000 acres of central mixed-grass prairie and red rolling planes, iSportsman will be used by natural resources personnel to better manage activities such as hunting, fishing, horseback riding, ATV and UTV use, kayaking and canoeing, biking, and research activities. The installation provides recreational activities to those personnel serving our nation’s military, as well as civilian contractors and the general public.
